Season 2 on its way

So far, American Gladiators has proven to be a huge success, bring in big ratings for NBC. Due to the success, a second season has gotten the go. Season two is set to begin filming in March and will air in the Summer, leading up to NBC's coverage of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

With that said, MGM and Johnny Ferraro, owner of Flor-Jon, Films Inc.are developing an American Gladiators cartoon series. Still in early stages, we'll have to see how this develops.

We have more controversy with American Gladiators, this time in the form of contestant Belinda Gavin, who fell short this past Monday against Monica Carlson. Belinda Gavin a "Rodeo Bull Rider" turns out to have had a past doing porn.

Belinda Gavin originally from Australia but currently residing in Burbank, California has apparently done numerous softcore pornography. This week, unreleased scenes scenes with her and WWE Diva and Playboy Playmate Candice Michelle were were released to the internet. This has sparked a buzz on the internet.

Don Yates was trained in professional wrestling by The Navajo Warrior. Don worked mostly for Impact Zone Wrestling and other independent federations. At Impact Zone Wrestling, Hollywood Yates & Hardcore Kid beat the Ballard Brothers at Bash on Ash in Tempe, AZ to hold the Tag-Team Titles. The Ballard Brothers brothers later beat Hollywood Yates(Hardcore Kid did not show) on 2/05/03 at Rodeo Nights in Phoenix, AZ, to regain the Tag-Titles.

Don Yates holds victories against wrestlers; Len Denton, Lawrence Tyler, GQ Gallo, Tommy Drake and many more. On April 28, 2007 on Impact Zone Wrestling, he won a 15-Man Battle Royal last eliminating REDRUM (Rellik (TNA)/Johnny Stamboli (WWE)). He also recently worked a dark match on September 26, 2007 for the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) developmental federation Ohio Valley Wrestling and was defeated by Jay Bradley.

Militia better known as Alex Castro is perhaps the most controversial American Gladiator in the revival due to a gay past. Alex Catro worked as a gay porn model under the name Elian Cortez. Despite the odds, only time will tell if Militia can rise above the media onslaught as the news travels upon the progression of the season.

Tanoai Reed is Hollywood stunt man and American Gladiator in the new NBC revival in 2008. He was born February 10, 1974 in Honolulu and is the cousin of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. A vast majority of his stunt work has been for "The Rock." Movies include Gridiron Gang (2006), Doom (2005), Be Cool (2005), Walking Tall (2004), The Rundown (2003) and The Scorpion King (2002). Toa has also done stunts for "Nash Bridges", "Baywatch Nights" "Angel" Daredevil (2002) and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

In 2004, Toa won two Taurus Awards for Best High Work in The Rundown (2003) and Best Overall Stunt by a Stunt Man in The Rundown (2003).

Other than stunts, he has also made acting appearances over the years, including a Fire Demon on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and wrestler on Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. He was also featured in the The Black Eyed Peas video "Pump it"
